Can I see a Physical therapist without a prescription?
Yes, in the state of Kansas no prescription is required.
Will I see the same PT every visit?
Yes, we strongly encourage care with the same provider. All sessions are one and one provided by the licensed physical therapist.
What does MTC mean?
Manual Therapy Certified (MTC) refers to a therapist who has received extensive training, using a hands-on approach including soft tissue and joint mobilization, to address joint and muscle imbalances.
What does OCS mean?
Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) refers to a therapist who has undergone extensive training in the management of orthopedic related injuries. It is a highly regarding certification obtained through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABTS).
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows the therapist to address the involved area without restriction. Tennis shoes are recommended if a sports-related injury is involved.
