Can I see a Physical therapist without a prescription?
Yes, in the state of Kansas no prescription is required.
Will I see the same PT every visit?
Yes, we strongly encourage care with the same provider. All sessions are one-on-one, provided by a licensed physical therapist.
What does MTC mean?
Manual Therapy Certified (MTC) refers to a therapist who has received extensive training, using a hands-on approach including soft tissue and joint mobilization, to address joint and muscle imbalances.
What does OCS mean?
Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) refers to a physical therapist who has undergone extensive training in the management of orthopedic related injuries and diagnoses. It is a highly regarded certification obtained through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABTS).
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows the therapist to address the involved area without restriction. Tennis shoes are recommended if a sports-related injury is involved.
